Princess Cadance is an Alicorn mare, wife of Shining Armor, mother of Flurry Heart and sister-in-law of Twilight Sparkle. She is the ruler of the Crystal Empire and the princess of love.
Appearance[]
Princess Cadance is very tall and slim, but still shorter than Celestia. She is pink with a long, flowing mane and tail that curl slightly at the ends and have purple, fuschia, and yellow stripes. She has a slightly square face compared to most other ponies in the show and large purple eyes. Her wings fade into lilac at the tips and her cutie mark is of the Crystal Heart. She wears the golden shoes, crown and necklace that's typical of Alicorn princesses (except for Twilight and Flurry Heart).
Personality[]
Being the princess of love, she is very affectionate and expresses her affection to her loved ones freely. She also doesn't tire easily, as shown when she wasn't tired after Flurry Heart was born but Shining Armor was. Cadence is also very friendly and joyful, using her love-related magic to settle arguments between other ponies and doing a special dance with Twilight while saying a rhyme that goes "Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake. Clap your hooves and give a little shake".
Early Life[]
Cadence's parents died when she was a baby, leading her to be raised by Earth ponies. She used to be a pegasus until Princess Celestia took her in after she turned into an Alicorn.
In her adolescence, she used to foalsit Twilight and the two became great friends. She has also wished to marry Shining Armor since her adolescence, which came true in the episode ”Canterlot wedding”
she also got pregnant and had a baby named Flurry heart.
